Ketchum Switch Recreation Area
Ketchum Switch Recreation Area is a 270 acre "controlled access" area which is managed as a quality hunting and fishing experience. Consisting of predominantly mature timber and native grass covered rolling hills, the area is a hunter's paradise. Anglers can try their luck fishing the ponds which have been stocked with catfish, bass, and bluegills.
Ketchum Switch is divided into four quadrants with a maximum of two people per quadrant. Access can only be obtained by permit, available from the Conservation Department's Office at 2593 Nature Center Drive, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa or call (319) 986-5067. . See "Related Items" for complete regulations.

Ketchum Switch offers two handicapped accessible hunting blinds. These blinds are located in Quadrants 3 and 4.
