Livingston Timber
Livingston Timber consists largely of red and white pine trees that cover 45 of its 74 acres making it an excellent hunting area for deer, squirrel, and turkey.
The remaining timberland is mostly oak and hickory with some brushy areas.
In order to help the overall tree population, every third row of pine trees were removed in 1997. Dimensional lumber was cut from the pines and utilized for cabins and picnic tables in Jefferson County Park.
Livingston Timber is the second largest pine plantation in Jefferson County.
