Fairfield Loop Trail

As the original site of the C.W. Whitham Nursery, many of the original nursery plantings have grown to maturity creating an interesting diversification of plant materials.

Within the park, you can find over 100 different species of trees. Among the trees a four-acre prairie plot and one-acre fishing pond can be found. The Fairfield Loop Trail winds through the southern half of the park.

At the request of the Daisy Whitham Family at the time of the donation in 1980, no infrastructure or development can take place in the park with the exception of the parking lot and restroom which have been added.
