Pechman Creek Delta
This 380 acre property was acquired in 2016. The site is along the Iowa River and encompasses a former farmhouse and farmland. Bottomland forest stretches along the river on the site along with some unique slough features.
The site will be restored to native ecosystems, including expanding forest, prairie, and wetlands throughout.
This site is open to the public but currently lacks recreational infrastructure, including restrooms, picnic areas, or trails.
