Equipment Rental

The following equipment is available for the public to use for planting wildlife habitat. LCC does not take reservations for equipment rentals and use is only scheduled one or two days in advance. Call the maintenance shop at 319-523-6493 to check availability. 


Truax Native Seed Drill
This no-till drill can be used to plant grass and forbs to establish native grass plantings. It is 6 ft wide and does not have a trailer for towing. 
Rental fee: $10/acre; minimum of $25 per use
