Louisa County Complex (Conservation Office)
The Louisa County Conservation offices are held in the Louisa County Complex. The Director, Office Manager and Naturalists all report to work at the Complex and work out of this building. The Maintenance Staff work out of the Maintenance Shop at 8299 K Avenue, in Wapello.
The Louisa County Complex holds the following County Offices:
- Conservation - North Wing, utilize the first parking lot
- Public Health - West Wing, utilize the first parking lot
- Sheriff - East Wing - Drive all the way to the back-side of the building. Entrance is near the flag pole.
- Jail - East of the Sheriff's offices - drive all the way to the backside of the building and use the Sheriff's entrance.
- Probation - South wing, just off the kitchen. Drive to the back side of the building, utilizing the Sheriff's parking area and enter the door where the South wing meets the East Wing.
Location
The Louisa County Complex is located North of Wapello, just off County Road G56. Follow the directional signs from HWY 61.

Operating Hours & Seasons
Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Staff also available outside of these hours by chance or appointment.
Closures
The Louisa County Conservation offices are closed on all state holidays and some federal holidays. Signs are posted on the door when closed. We have a drop box on the fence near our door that can be used for dropping off payments or registrations.
