Deep River Timber Wildlife Area
The Deep River Timber Wildlife Area encompasses 313 acres. The Deep River Creek flows through the north side of this wildlife area. It's one of the few remaining large tracts of timber and offers hiking, hunting, and bird watching opportunities. The native oak-hickory timber provides excellent habitat for many species of wildlife.
Location
The Deep River Timber Wildlife Area is located one mile east of Deep River and one half mile north on Highway 21.
