Northern Prairie WMA
A 40 acre area with a restored pothole wetland and some surrounding uplands.
Location
From Hwy 105 west of Northwood take either Wheelerwood RD or Finch Ave north to 500th St. Take a left on 500th St and drive west. Turn north on Cardinal Ave. drive north about half of a mile.
Features
The restored pothole wetland is fairly deep water. The restored uplands consist mainly of native grasses. This county owned property adjoins the IADNR's Bright's Lake property.
