Butler

Kyle Wildlife Area was acquired as a donation in 1981.  Designated by the donor as a wildlife refuge, the area is 19 acres in size and is primarily covered by timber with a prairie planting along the west edge.  As a wildlife refuge no hunting is allowed in this area.

Kyle Wildlife Area is located 2 miles northeast of Aredale Iowa at 13286 130th Street.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Kyle Wildlife Area is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. during the non-hunting seasons.

Closures

Kyle Wildlife Area is closed to the public during Iowa hunting seasons.
