Missouri Bottoms Wetland Area
The Missouri Bottoms Wetland Area was acquired by the Harrison County Conservation Board and conservation partners, including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Boyer Valley Chapter of Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited. This 240-acre restored wetland offers habitat for migrating waterfowl as well as native prairie upland habitat for pheasant and quail. Hunters are reminded it is illegal to discharge a firearm within 200 yards of an occupied building or feedlot-watch for signs. It is also an excellent bird watching location for shorebirds and grassland species. Location
Located about two miles northwest of Missouri Valley on Isles Avenue. Access to Missouri Bottoms Wetland Area is on a Level B dirt road.
