Hurstville Fishing Pond
The Hurstville Fishing Pond is a 2-acre borrow pit stocked with bluegill, catfish and large mouth bass. The pond is a short distance from the parking lot, via a handicap accessible sidewalk and there is also an accessible dock. Cast your line from the dock or along the bank. And don’t forget a picnic lunch to enjoy in the picnic shelter on site! Shelter is available to rent.
A Free Fishing Clinic is held at this park each year on the first Saturday of June. Go to

Location
Hurstville Fishing Pond is located 1 mile north of Maquoketa on Highway 61, turn west on 63rd Street, then turn north and follow lane to parking lot. The Hurstville Pond is located on the west side of Highway 61, opposite the Hurstville Interpretive Center.
