Alton Roadside Park


Camping at Alton Roadside Park There are four (4) camp sites available at the Alton Roadside park. These sites have 30 and 20 amp electrical services. There is a dump station along with water hydrant available to fill with.
Canoeing & Kayaking at Alton Roadside Park Canoeing and kayaking is permitted on the 5 acre pond located at the park. No boat ramp access available.
Disc Golf at Alton Roadside Park There is a 9 hole Frisbee golf course at this location. There area additional Frisbee available for purchase at the Alton Casey's General Store.
Facility Rentals at Alton Roadside Park This enclosed shelter is located at the Alton Roadside Park, available by reservation seasonally. The facility Is a great place for family gatherings, graduation parties, celebrations, meetings, etc. To make reservations please contact Alton Casey's General Store at 712-756-4370.
Fishing at Alton Roadside Park Shore fishing of a 5 acre lake is located at the Alton Roadside Park. Fish that may be found in the pond include: Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Perch, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye.

Other Activities at Alton Roadside Park The Alton Roadside park offers playground equipment and horseshoe pit located in the north portion of the park in addition to the camping, fishing, picnicking and more that is offered.
Picnicking at Alton Roadside Park The Alton Roadside Park offers picnic table and benches throughout the park. There is also an enclosed picnic shelter available by reservation, fees do apply. Along with an open air picnic shelter located near the parking area and restrooms. The open air facility and picnic tables are available on a first come first served basis.
