Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center
Connecting kids with nature at the Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center. A place that not only welcomes those who come to learn and play, but also tells the story of the land and water that we enjoy. The building houses self-interpretative hands-on displays that immerse you in the living story of Iowa's water - the lifeblood that shapes our communities and our landscapes - while discovering our responsibilities to protect it for the future.
Location
The Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center is located at the confluence of the Des Moines River and Soldier Creek. The Discovery Center will be surrounded by the natural beauty of prairie, woodland, wetland, stream and river to show the importance of biodiversity. Google map
