Rental Contract Agreement Statement

I agree to be responsible for any damages done to BCCB property during the stay by myself or my guests. I agree the Board may apply an additional fee to wholly or partially satisfy any damages caused by members of said group, while using the facilities. Failure to clean up the facility and surrounding area may also result in additional charges.

I further agree to accept the responsibilities stated in the Cabin Rules and Policies stated below, and to abide by all state, county, and BCCB rules and regulations. Failure to comply with any cabin or park rules may result in fines, forfeiture of fees, and suspension of park privileges.

CABIN RULES:              Check-In Time:  3 PM           Check-Out Time:  12 PM

• Renter will choose a 4 digit key code upon online reservation checkout.  
• Maximum number of occupants per cabin is 6. 
• Maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive nights.
• Minimum age to reserve a cabin is 21 years of age. No minors may be left unattended.
• Maximum number of vehicles per cabin is two at designated cabin parking area.
• All county and state park rules and regulations apply.
• Park closing is 10:30 p.m. for non-registered guests.
• One tent (up to four people) may be placed next to the cabin.  All other tents, RVs, etc. must use regular campground.
• Cabin furniture must stay inside cabin.
• The fire ring is for burning wood only – not trash.
• All trash must be in the receptacle provided on the porch, or taken with you.
• Keg beer is prohibited.
• There is a separate fee for bringing a pet, to be paid with reservation.  If not paid with reservation – pets are prohibited.  All pets must be on a leash when outside, and all pet waste must be picked up and placed in garbage can. Should problems arise from pets, BCCB staff may require that the pets be removed and/or users forfeit their cabin rental.
• Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin.
• BCCB staff reserves the right to enter the cabin for maintenance or security problems.
• A grill and fire ring grate are provided outside each cabin for cooking. Cooking inside the cabin is prohibited except for the following: 
  • Microwave (provided with cabin)
  • Coffeemaker (provided with cabin)

·        Crockpots and electric skillets will drain the solar batteries.

·        Notify BCCB staff immediately upon check-in about any equipment/furnishings that appear damaged or not working.

CHECKOUT RULES – UPON CHECK OUT, USERS MUST

(clean-up instructions also are posted in cabins):

• Close and lock windows.
• Clean microwave, refrigerator, counter top and table with cleaner provided.
• Sweep floor, mop any spills, and remove all trash (inside and outside).
• Trash must be in the receptacles or taken with you.
• Turn heater to its lowest setting.
• Shut off all lights.
• Make sure the door is shut tight.
• Make sure the picnic table is left as it was when you arrived.

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING:

Bedding, towels, toiletries, bug repellent, food, extra trash bags for check-out cleaning, binoculars, camera, canoe/kayak, fishing poles, and whatever else you want to enhance your stay in the outdoors!

The Solar Energy System (informational displays and brochures exist inside and outside the cabins)

1. An amp and voltage meter is located in the living room, on the wall between the bathroom and bedroom.  The amp meter shows how much energy is flowing from the solar panels.  The voltage meter indicates how much energy remains in storage for use.
2. The system is designed to provide adequate energy for intelligent use by renters.  Energy supply is not designed to take into account wasteful practices, such as leaving on lights and appliances, bringing in high energy use appliances, etc.  

Cancellation Policy

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Please understand that at the time of booking your reservation you immediately prohibit other people from reserving and using the facility.  Therefore, should you choose to cancel a reservation, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.

Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY
There is a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy, with the following exceptions:

• Accident, serious injury or illness, or death of an immediate family member;
• Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel - such as a winter storm where a travel warning has been issued;
• We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event, due to some previously unknown occurrence (ie: fire, damage, breakdown).
• Requests for refunds cannot be made online, and must be made by contacting the Conservation Board Office at (319) 636-2617.  The BCCB will act on the request.
