Event Summary

Learn about one of Iowa's premier Water Trail Gateways during a public dedication of the newly improved Iron Bridge Access.  The story behind this project has a broad cast of characters who came together to provide a great outdoor recreation venue on the Wapsipinicon River.
The public dedication will begin with speakers briefly describing their partnership roles and how they saw value in the project.  There also will be information about a future project to restore the historic Taylor's Ford Bridge (adjacent to the access).  Following the dedication, people will be able to walk the new paved trails to check out the access and surrounding area.  
Following the dedication at approximately 9:40 a.m. the hike will begin on a woodland walk through the adjacent Guy Grover Timber and Tree Plantings.  Participants are encouraged to social distance.
