OWLS (Older Wiser Livelier Souls) - History at Jakway!

Event Summary

Are you an adult and have you been looking to experience nature, make new friends, and get outdoors?  Join a naturalist and enjoy some of Buchanan County's hidden gems.  OWLS is a program specifically design for adults to learn and explore nature in and around Buchanan County.  The second OWLS program will be held at Richardson-Jakway Historic Site and will feature a tour of the 1851 house and pioneer homestead, and a history-themed woodland walk. The Historic Site interprets a rich history of pioneer settlement and westward movement, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
