Allan and Fayette Meyer Nature Center
Built in 1988 and expanded in 2021, the Nature Center serves as the hub of the Butler County Conservation Board. Visitors can find exhibits about flora and fauna found in and around Butler County, live animals and much more. The offices remain open during this time. A new classroom/meeting space will also be available when this project is complete. We appreciate your patience as we better our facilities for the education and enjoyment of our visitors.
Environmental education for schools, youth, special interest groups and the public can be scheduled with the full-time naturalist by phone (319-346-6551) or e-mail (butlernaturalist@butler-bremer.com).
All public events and updates will be advertised on the Butler County Conservation Board Facebook page, mycountyparks.com, Instagram, in local newspapers and on the radio.
