Bob Miller Cabin
Bob Miller Cabin overlooks the Miller McGrath Wildlife Area. The wildlife area provides amble amounts of opportunities to pursue many forms of outdoor recreation from hunting, fishing, hiking, bird watching, biking, camping and more! The area is comprised of rolling prairies, wooded ravines, a 1.5-acre pond stocked with game fish and is even bordered by the Heritage Trail.
This primitive cabin has electricity, a wood burning stove, a mini fridge, microwave, bunk beds (full on bottom with twin on top), futon (full sofa/ bed), table and benches, covered deck, picnic tables, and fire ring with a grill. Guests are encouraged to bring portable water and a pit latrine is located close by. There is a direct link from this cabin to a trail leading to the pond.
- 2-night minimum required for weekends, 3-night minimum required for holiday weekends
- Reservations must be made AT LEAST 4 DAYS IN ADVANCE
- NO PETS ALLOWED
- NO SMOKING ALLOWED
DAMAGE / CLEANING DEPOSIT : $100 Refundable Deposit - in addition to the rental fee

TENT : A tent can be erected next to the cabin ONLY if the occupants are children under the age of 16.

Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation. Cancellation or change must be made 30 days in advance of reservation.
SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100%OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.
Cancellations or rescheduling cannot be done online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (563) 556-6745.
Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date.
We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy with the following exceptions:
- Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member
- We are unable to provide your facility in operable condition for the date of your event
