Shelter Willow Lake Large HALF day 6:00am-4:00pm
Enjoy the view of the lake from this covered, open-sided shelter. This shelter houses ten picnic tables, electricity, charcoal grill, water hydrant nearby and is perfect for family gatherings. There is a playground with latrine nearby. Handicap accessible. At this time there are no online reservations, however, you can call Harrison County Conservation Board at 712-647-2785 to make a reservation. Please be advised there are no refunds for cancellations. Otherwise, shelter is available first come, first serve.
Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 06:00 AM and check-out is before 04:00 PM.
Location Located on the east side of Willow Lake near the campground entrance with a large parking lot.
Fees
The fee is $30.00. This reservation is for a HALF day use of the large shelter house at Willow Lake Recreation Area.

Harrison County
Harrison County Conservation Board is located in the beautiful Loess Hills of western Iowa! There are 18 park and wildlife areas with almost 1,800 acres for outdoor recreation like camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, wildlife watching, picnicking and boating. The Willow Lake Recreation Area near Woodbine also has a campground, rental cabins, administration offices, and the new Willow Lake Nature Center. Another campground is located near Dunlap called Schaben Park. Stop by the Harrison County Historical Village near Missouri Valley to learn about agriculture, Native Americans, and the Lincoln Highway.
