Rental Contract Agreement

In reserving this shelter-house, I agree to leave the site used in the same condition, or better than it was found. I agree to clean up what debris and litter which may be deposited during the use, agree to be responsible for any damages done withing the park by the group shown above or its guests, and agree to follow all the laws of the State of Iowa and the rules and policies set forth by the Kossuth County Conservation Board. This includes being finished with the reservation at the checkout time of 10:30 PM. I further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence, or omissions of the members of the above group while using the facility. I also agree that I have been informed that keg beer is not allowed. Nor is glitter or confetti allowed to be used in or around the shelter.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

Consider this policy prior to purchasing a reservation. Please understand at the time of booking your reservation you immediately prohibit other people from reserving and utilizing that facility; therefore, they will go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. Name of person on the reservation will be the only person who can cancel or reschedule a facility reservation. All cancellations or requests to reschedule date of reservation cannot be done online and must be made by calling and/or emailing the Nature Center Office at least 14 days in advance of the original reservation arrival date. If a rescheduling of a reservation is needed, that rescheduled date must be submitted and approved by the Park Staff at least 2 weeks prior to the original reservation date of arrival. A reservation holder has only ONE opportunity to reschedule their original reservation.

If a facility reservation is cancelled by Kossuth County Conservation Board due to a natural disaster or if by some means the facility is unusable, a full refund will be issued to the person that made the original reservation (processing fees WILL be refunded).

Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

Consider this policy prior to purchasing a reservation.  Fees may be refunded if: refund request is received at least 14 days in advance of the original date of reservation (processing fees will not be refunded). If a facility reservation is cancelled by Kossuth County Conservation Board due to a natural disaster, or if by some means the facility is unusable, a FULL refund (including processing fees) will be refunded.

Refunds will be mailed in the form of a check from the Kossuth County Conservation Board along with a letter of explanation and confirmation of cancellation. Refund checks will be mailed out on a monthly basis.
