Pinicon Alders Cabin

General Regulation:

• Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. on the first day of the cabin reservation
• Check - out time 1:00 p.m.
• Maximum number of 6 people (youth & adult)
• ALL VISITORS must depart the area no later than 10:30 p.m., park closing time
• No loud music after 9 p.m. and before 9 a.m.Quiet hours are 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
• If cabins have not been reserved, they are available on a first come first serve basis
• Vehicles shall be parked in designated areas
• All Rules & Regulations of the Mitchell Country Conservation Board are in effect
• Violation of park rules and regulations may result in loss of all privileges and forfeiture of reservation fees

We have a limited refund policy; however, if you need to change your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule. Details regarding the advance notification requirement, change and cancellation fees can be found in the Facility Contract accepted at time of booking.

Cedar Cabin Features:

• Large spacious cabin with loft.
• Kitchenette - microwave, medium sized refrigerator, table & 6 chairs
• Wall unit for heat and wood burning stove
• Large covered porch
• Picnic table and fire ring with grill outside
• Vehicle parking nearby
• 3 Futon couch (double bed) in living area
• 3 Futon couch in loft
• This is an ADA accessible facility
• No running water
• Pit toilet near cabin

Supplies Provided:

• Broom, dustpan & mop
• Refuse must be taken with you - carry in carry out

Renter will need to bring:

• Complete bedding with pillow, sheets, blankets and/or sleeping bags
• Food & beverage supplies
• Toilet tissue
• Any radio, television, alarm clocks
• Lawn chairs if desired
• Firewood

Special Regulations:

• Smoking is prohibited
• Pets are prohibited inside the cabin
• Keg beer is prohibited
• Cabin furniture must remain inside cabin
• FAILURE to clean the facility grounds, SMOKING, or ALLOWING pets in cabin will result in eviction.

Mitchell County Conservation Board is located in north central Iowa along the Minnesota border and is home to the Mitchell Mill Dam, Wapsi-Great Western Line Trail, Cedar River Greenbelt Trail, and 6 campgrounds . Additionally, Mitchell CCB manages 6 parks, and 39 other natural areas, historic sites and wetlands encompassing  3,038+ acres across the county.
