Peters Park consists of 73.3 acres known as the Rodney Pits Recreation Area. Here three abandoned gravel pits were developed for recreation and fishing. Located one mile east of Rodney, the combined 42 acres of water provide good fishing for bass, bluegill, crappie and catfish.  Facilities at Peters Park include Forty Nine electrical and water camping pads, 26 are full hookups, 3 are handicap accessible campsites, 1 Group area with electric and water, tent camping area, vault toilets, 2 room shower house, open shelter house with electric and picnic tables, drinking water, dump station, basketball court, swim beach, sand volleyball, playground, and a .9 mile walking trail.  A gravel boat ramp and boat dock and ground/upright grills are also available. Full hook-up sites are $25.00 per night. Electrical sites are $20.00 per night. Non-electrical sites $15.00 per night. We currently do not take rerservations for campsites at this park as it is a first come first serve basis.

49 campsites, including three that are handicap accessible, 1 Group area with electric and water,  20-50 amp electrical boxes, water at each sites and sewer at 26 sites, vault toilets, two room family unit shower facility,  open shelter house with electrical outlets and picnic tables, drinking water and dump station. Upright grills and ground grills are also available. A gravel boat ramp and boat dock are available for use as well as a swim beach, basketball court, sand volleyball, and playground. A great location for fishing and camping. Full hook-up sites are $25.00 per night. Electrical sites are $20.00 per night. Non-electrical sites $15.00 per night.
