Discover Plum Thicket in Onawa

The Plum Thicket Wildlife Area is located just west of the Interstate 20 overpass between Onawa and Blencoe. This 4.19-acre site was an abandoned road right of way managed as a wildlife area. It has been enhanced with wildlife plantings. The Board of Supervisors requested the Conservation Board take over this area and manage it as a wildlife area since it was not being used as a road anymore.
