These open air facilities are a great place for your next family picnic or small group gathering. Picnic tables provided under facility roof. Shelter available on a first come first served basis, available daily 7 am- 10:30 pm. No overnight use permitted.

Vehicle passes do pertain to this area:

Annual vehicle pass- $20 first vehicle, additional passes are $10 per vehicle and must be same household. Must be purchased same day as initial pass. Pass is valid for both Sandy Hollow Rec. Area and Big Sioux Rec. Area.

Day vehicle pass- $5 per vehicle per day.

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after N/A and check-out is before N/A.

The Sioux CCB manages 24 parks, natural areas, water recreation accesses and rest areas across the county, encompassing some 2,653.3 acres.
