Cabin Rental Contract Agreement (Please read prior to making any reservations.)
By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years or older and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities.
Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation, and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information.
You are reserving a facility in a Sioux County Conservation Board park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Ranger or call the administration office if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests.
Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Sioux County Conservation Board may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.
CHECK-IN TIME- After 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
CHECK-OUT TIME- Before NOON on day of departure.
GETTING INTO FACILITY- Your cabin key will be placed in a locked key safe mounted to the wall of the cabin near the door. To gain access to your cabin key, please follow these directions:
- Use Confirmation Code on email.
- Slide black cover down to reveal number dial on key safe.
- Arrange numbers correctly.
- Pull down on black push tab left of numbers and open box.
GENERAL INFORMATION- Violation of any state law or county regulation by any member of the rental party is cause for revocation of the rental privilege and the entire party may be required to leave the area.
Cabin party consists of no more than five (5) person(s) in Bluegill Bungalow or Foxes Den cabin. No more than eight (8) person(s) in Eagles Nest or Whitetail. All camping units and tents must be placed in campground on their own site. There are no tents or additional camping units allowed by cabins.
No rental shall occupy any cabin for more than 14 days. There is a two night weekend requirement and minimum 3 nights on holiday weekends.
PARKING- Parking is confined to designated parking areas. There is room at each cabin for two (2) vehicles to park. Overflow parking is available near all cabins for additional vehicles. No parking or driving off roadways.
PETS- Pets are allowed around cabins, must be kenneled inside of cabin and leashed when outdoors. Leash may be no longer than 6 feet in length and may not be affixed to any Sioux County property or trees that may cause damage.
Pets must be kept quiet and mannerly, bag and trash ALL waste. NO pets allowed in restrooms/showers. Failure to comply will result in request from Park Staff for removal of your pet from the area.
CLEAN-UP- You are required to clean-up the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. Plan to have your facility cleaned and people departed prior to the scheduled NOON check-out time.
GARBAGE- It is the renter’s responsibility to remove all refuse from cabins upon departure. There is a large dumpster located in Turkey Ridge Campground for disposal. DO NOT put garbage in campfire rings.
FIREWOOD- Out of state firewood is prohibited. Cabin renters may be required to provide a “proof of origin certification” for firewood in their possession. Local firewood may be brought in if within 30 mile radius of park. Firewood is available for purchase at entrance of Deer Run Campground. Remember, “BUY LOCAL, BURN LOCAL.”
BEER/WINE REQUIREMENTS- Keg beer and liquor are prohibited in all SCCB areas.
VISITORS- All visitors (other than registered overnight campers) must depart the park by 10:30 PM.
QUIET HOURS- All park users must avoid excessive noise and maintain quite hours of 10:30 pm- 7:00 am. “Excessive Noise” means any loud, confused or senseless shouting or outcry; a sound lacking in agreeable musical quality or which is noticeably unpleasant.
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS AND DECORATIONS- Temporary, free standing directional signs are allowed- not to be attached to park property such as: furniture, signposts or other facilities. Decorations are allowed as long as they are free standing or not affixed in a manner that would damage a facility or any painted walls (tape, tacks and staples cause damage to walls). The use of a no-stick adhesive is recommended. Special care should be taken with balloons so that they do not “escape” and possibly injure wildlife. No open flame candles are allowed.
SMOKING- Sioux County is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.
Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Sioux County Conservation may take any legal actions necessary to recover damages to county property.
