Flag Poles
The information kiosk located at Briggs
Woods Park had some improvements completed recently, thanks to the Hamilton
County local hotel/motel tax dollars grant administered through the
Hamilton Hometowns, formally known as Hamilton County SEED. Work included replacing the old rail road
ties that were used for planter beds and replacing them with landscaping
block. Two flag poles were installed
with the American and state of Iowa flag, along with lighting. An informational LED lighted sign will also
be installed at one end. Work was
completed by the Hamilton County Conservation staff.
