Schaben Park campground is located between Woodbine and Dunlap, Iowa, two miles off Highway 30 on 141st Lane (a gravel road). There are 12 camping sites with electricity (20 and 30 amp) and water hydrants, picnic tables and fire rings. A dump station is located near the entrance to the park. A tent only camping area has three sites with picnic tables, fire rings, water hydrant, and electricity. There is a playground, picnic shelter and shower house with restrooms (open April 1st-October 31st-weather dependent). Cost is $25.00 per night for regular RV camping sites and $20.00 for tent only camping sites; checkout is 4 p.m. No reservations; first-come, first-serve. Maximum capacity for camping sites is 1 RV and 1 tent or 2 tents. Park closes at 10:30 p.m. to non-registered guests. The park gate is closed to vehicles from January 31st to April 1st, walk in only.
