Coffee and Conservation

Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center, Woodbury County

Wednesday, November 13, 2024

Join us for coffee and conversations about conservation! Each month features different topics related to Iowa’s natural history. This month we will be talking turkeys. Turkeys are a common sight here in Sioux City, but how much do you really know about them? Why do they have waddles? Do all turkeys have beards? In what year were they extirpated from Iowa? Find out the answers to these questions and more! Refreshments are provided. For more information call 712-258-0838 or email camps@woodburyparks.org.
