Rental Contract Agreement
By your
agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 18 years
or older (21 years or older if alcohol will be present) and that you are authorized
to make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further
agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of
the members of your group while utilizing said facility.
Additionally,
you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION POLICY, REFUND
POLICY and all facility rules contained in this document concerning this
reservation.
You are
reserving a facility in a Decatur County park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE
LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Office if you have any questions about park
rules or policies.
Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as
outlined or failure to comply with park rules and state laws may result in
enforcement action. Decatur County Conservation may take legal action necessary
for noncompliance or to recover damages to county property.
CHECK-IN
TIME: After 5:30 AM
CHECK-OUT
TIME: Before 10:30 PM
Rental Period:
Decatur
County Conservation Board shelters will be rented for the full day only, no
half day rentals.
Getting
into facility
The
shelter is available to you at check-in time. The park staff will have your
shelter marked as “RESERVED” prior to your arrival. The enclosed Coffelt
Shelter will be unlocked before your check-in time.
Clean-Up:
You are
required to clean up the facility and surrounding area and return them to the
condition you found them. Plan to have the facility cleaned and persons
departed prior to check-out time.
Smoking:
Decatur
County Conservation is a smoke free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all
buildings.
Parking:
Parking is confined to designated parking areas. No parking on
or driving off roadways. If you anticipate more vehicles than dedicated space
provided, please contact the park office in advance.
Decorations and Directional Signs:
Temporary, free standing signs are allowed…Do not attach to park
furniture, signposts or buildings. Do not affix decorations with nails,
staples, heavy tape or any other substances that can mar or harm facility.
Special care is to be taken with balloons so they do not escape. Remove ALL
signs and decorations.
Alcohol:
NO kegs
are allowed in the park. NO hard alcohol allowed. Beer and wine are allowed.
Music:
Bands, DJs and other amplified sound and music are allowed. Do
not disturb others in the park… you may be notified by park staff to lower the
noise level if they deem it is too loud. All sound sources must be turned off
by 10:00 PM.
Refuse:
Your shelter is Carry-in and Carry-out. Remove all trash
(including water balloon waste) to the large park dumpsters or take it with
you. Do not use restroom trash receptacles for your picnic area trash and
leftovers.
Pets:
Pets are allowed and must be on a leash not to exceed 6’ at ALL
times. You are required to clean up after any pets in your group.
Special Activities:
Inflatable play equipment, pools, slip and slides, carnival
activities, large smoking or grilling equipment and tents are prohibited.
Considerations may be allowed by calling the park office.
Date Changes:
All reservation date changes must be made by calling the park
office at least 7 days prior to your reservation date. You may change dates up
two times and changes must be for the same year as the original reservation.
Cancellation or Refund:
ALL funds will be forfeited should you choose to cancel your
reservation. Refunds will be allowed if one of the following occurs:
The National Weather Service has issues severe weather and
travel is not recommended or we are unable to provide your facility or like
facility on the day of your event.
