Area A sites are the perfect campsites for those looking for a more rustic camping experience.
Nestled in the park these five sites are located yards away from the Shell Rock River and along many of the hiking trails that will take you on a scenic exploration.
Although these sites are limited in amenities each site contains a picnic table and fire ring and are located near the four season shower facility.
For those rainy days during your stay the Beth Reinhart Rec Center is located on the other end of the park offering alternate activities such as: basketball, volleyball, bean bags, ping pong and foosball.
Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
Picnic shelter also nearby as well as restroom facilities with showers.
Entire area may be reserved or by site (A1-A5).
Fees are $10 per site or $50 for the entire area.

Weather dependent.
• The person responsible for the rental must be at least 21 years of age. Site must be registered under the name of the adult person who will occupy the site.• One tent per site is allowed with an additional tent allowed for minor children.• Vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas, off of the grass and the road.• Check out time: 3 p.m.• Maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive nights.• Non-registered guests must leave by 10:30 p.m.• Quiet hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.• Pets must be leashed. Tying pets to trees or vegetation is prohibited.• Campsites must be kept clean and orderly at all times.• Fires are allowed in designated receptacles only.• Temporary free-standing signs are allowed. Signs are not to be attached to furniture, sign posts, kiosks, or facilities.• Shower use at campgrounds is limited to registered campers only. Washing pets, clothes or dishes in shower facilities is prohibited.
• Large groups over 50 individuals, will be charged a $5 per person per day fee. Fee is payable at Departure time.
• All rules and regulations of the Floyd County Conservation Board are in effect. Failure to abide by rules may result in expulsion and forfeiture of all rental fees.
If you need to cancel a reservation, you will forfeit 100% of all reservation fees paid.
