Spring Lake Lakeside Shelter
Lakeside Shelter is an enclosed shelter located on the north shoreline of Spring Lake. Nearby amenities include a restroom / shower house, playground, indoor skating rink, swimming beach with boat rentals and concession. Inside are 6 picnic tables and a fireplace. An open sided shelter has been attached to the enclosed shelter with an additional 8 picnic tables. This can be reserved with a $75 fee (plus additional 4$ admin fee). It can also be used on a first-come, first-serve basis if not being reserved.
Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 05:30 AM and check-out is before 10:30 PM.

Greene County
The Greene County Conservation Board is located in west central Iowa and currently manages 20 areas encompassing some 1,845 acres. Greene County is home to Iowa's second oldest county park - Squirrel Hollow - built by Civil Works Administration crews in 1934, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Other highlights include Spring Lake Park, a favorite of many campers, and the Raccoon River Valley Trail. Seven concrete boat ramps spaced along 40 miles of the North Raccoon River provide easy access for those wanting to canoe or kayak.
