Smith Lake South Site 32 - Walk-in
Site 32 has a gravel pad that is 54 feet in length, and 21 feet wide. It comes with a water connection, fire ring, charcoal grill, and picnic table. The 50/30/20 amp electrical pedestal is shared with neighboring site, and the receptacles in the pedestal are first come, first served. This site is well shaded by large deciduous trees on either side of the pad.
Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 04:00 PM and check-out is before 03:00 PM.
Location
Smith Lake Park is located 3 miles north of Algona on the west side of Highway 169.
This campsite is located toward the west end of the campground.

Fees
The nightly camping rate for walk-in sites is $15 to be paid at the time of arrival.
You can now pay using the new Instant Pay feature by scanning the QR code on the campsite post.
If you pay by card, the nightly rate is $15.60. The extra 60 cents is a 4% convenience fee to help cover our credit card processing fees.
You will still need to fill out an envelope at the registration kiosk and drop it in the payment pedestal, just as you would if paying by cash or check. Please indicate that you have paid online on the envelope.
Be sure to tag your site upon payment with the filled out top portion of your registration envelope.
Customer AND camping unit (camper, trailer, vehicle, erected tent) must physically be at the campsite to scan & utilize the INSTANT PAY QR Code. Day #1 of the booking will be that day, and length of stay will not exceed 14 days. If the site is empty, even though a paid booking is in place - it shall be determined to be vacated or improperly paid for in violation of this Instant Pay Policy. The site registration will be immediately voided and available to the next Instant Pay Customer. There will be no refunds for violations of any portion of this policy.
Hours of Operation & Seasons
Our campgrounds open around the middle of April depending on weather, and close around the end of October. Water and restroom facilities may not be available until all risk of a freeze have passed. Visitors to your campsite are welcome from 7 AM until 10:30 PM daily with quiet hours starting at 10:30 PM
