The Morgan Creek Shelter is a seasonal open-air shelter facility and extremely popular for family reunions, youth group outings and corporate social gatherings. 

This Morgan Creek Shelter will be sunsetting June 15, 2022.

The NEW Morgan Creek Shelter, located just north of E Ave in the new redevelopment site, will be available for the 2022 season starting June 15.  Reservations will be accepted for 2022 under that new facility listing.


Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 07:00 AM and check-out is before 10:00 PM.

Location The shelter is located in the plateau area of the park, easily accessed off of Worcester Road in the NW side of Cedar Rapids. The address of the shelter is 7001 Morgan Park Rd.
