The River Otter Cabin, located in Pinicon Ridge Park, is the smaller of the four modern camping cabins offered for reservations within the Linn County parks. It's small size makes it perfect for a couple's getaway weekend. River Otter is a one room cabin - 350 sq. feet of living space (16' X 22' cabin). This cabin sleeps a maximum of 6. There are two twin over full sized bunk beds.

Location

The camping cabins at Pinicon Ridge Park are located NW of Central City within the family campground complex on the east side of the Wapsipinicon River. The cabins are on a wooded bluff and not subject to flooding. Enter the north park entrance off Hwy. 13/Valley Farm Road and follow the park signs to the Plains Campground/Camping Cabins area.

Hours of Operation & Seasons

Cabins are available for reservation from April 15 through October 15.  Reservations may be made up to two years in advance of the date. Check-in time may be any time after 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, and checkout time is prior to 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
