Hickory Grove Primitive Campground
Hickory Grove Primitive Campground is located on the south side of the lake. There are 11 campsites available. These sites are for tent only camping.
The occupancy limit is 14 consecutive days; campers are then required to leave the park for a minimum of 48 hours.
There are no refunds available for cancellations.
Moving between campsites is not allowed unless approved by a park ranger.
Only one tent allowed per campsite. An additional tent may be placed on the site, if it is used and occupied by minor children of the registered camper.
Generators are not allowed.
Check-in/check-out time is 3 p.m.
The campsite must be registered under the name of a person 18 years of age or older who will occupy the camping unit on that site for the full term of the registration.

- Firewood is available for purchase from the campground attendant in site 1 in the main campground
- Sand beach and swimming area (There are no lifeguards on duty--swimming is at your own risk. There are no swimming fees charged)
- Picnic sites with tables and grills throughout Hickory Grove Park
- Hiking trails
- Public fishing is allowed on the 98-acre lake stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, channel catfish, and walleye
- Public hunting is allowed in the two game management areas on the south side of the park (see map)

First come first served "Instant Pay" $15.00/night
Reservable sites require:
Weekends (Friday & Saturday) - 2 night minimum
Holiday weekends (Friday, Saturday, & Holiday) - 3 night minimum

Campground is open April - October

- The campground may be opened prior to April 1 or closed after October 31 pending favorable weather & ground conditions.
- Water and modern restrooms/shower facilities may be closed to prevent freezing even though the campground may remain open.
