Nolan Wetland Area

Discover Nolan Wetland Area in Modale

Restored through the Wetland Reserve Program and acquired by the Harrison County Conservation Board with assistance from many conservation partners, this 161-acre area provides seasonal wetland habitat for migrating waterfowl and native prairie habitat for upland game. Hunters are reminded it is illegal to discharge a firearm within 200 yards of an occupied building or feedlot-watch for signs. It is located in the Loess Hills Bird Conservation Area designated by the Iowa DNR.
