The Carroll County Conservation Board is accepting applications for a full time Naturalist. Work will be based out of the Conservation Education Center at Swan Lake and you will be able to put your talents to work on our well established environmental education program. Work directly with our Environmental Education Coordinator to help grow our environmental education program in a county full of opportunities.

Under the direct supervision of the Palo Alto County Conservation Director, the Park Technician will work closely with the Operations Supervisor to carry out all aspects of Palo Alto County Conservation Board goals. These aspects include prairie restoration, wetland management, timber management, prescribed fire, janitorial, park maintenance, and managing PACCB campground.

ACCB is seeking a full time Technician / Naturalist. This position is responsible for routine maintenance of parks, trails, nature center, and natural areas. It includes natural resource management, janitorial duties, and building maintenance. This position will also assist the Naturalist with naturalist programs, nature center tours, and animal care. Must be willing to work nontraditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $15.00 - 17.00 / hour depending upon experience.
